High Quality PE & School Sport

We enhance the quality of school PE and Sport through a number of exciting projects and initiatives.

Planning and Assessment
We have supported many schools through Ofsted inspections with our individual school portfolios which contain long term plans, units of work, lesson plans and pupil ‘assessment for learning’. Every lesson taught is individually planned and every child taught is regularly assessed to ensure the level of teaching is appropriate for each individual child.

Cross Curricular Links
Many of our Units of Work introduce the use of key words, numeracy, planning and ICT. Our Outdoor & Adventurous Unit encourages team work, planning and problem solving. In Gymnastics, staff introduce digital cameras and videos to children to evaluate good practice and techniques.

Extra Curricular Clubs
All school contracts come with free extra curricular clubs to support extended school requirements. Quality expert coaching or just fun, safe, organised activities has seen an improvement in pupil’s motivation, behaviour and sense of achievement.

Absence Cover
Because we have an available pool of sport development staff, in the rare event of a staff absence, we are able to cover with qualifi ed competent coaches fully prepared with lesson information, therefore sustaining a continuous learning environment for children and peace of mind for schools.

Teachers Professional Development
To ensure class teachers retain key skills in Physical Education, whilst covering their PE lessons, we are able to offer various levels of PE INSET from keeping staff in the picture with newsletters and memo updates to practical sport specifi c sessions.
