PPA Cover - A cost effective method of covering teachers PPA time with high quality national curriculum based professional staff.

Sports Uk provide a PPA Cover service which is second to none. All our staff are highly trained and committed to support learning and promote pupil participation both in the classroom and on the playing field.

Key Staff

We have a team of 21 full time staff who are all highly qualified and trained to follow the National Curriculum for PE. All staff are equipped to plan, deliver and assess Physical Education at foundation level, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Regular training ensures that individuals are always fully prepared to plan and deliver effective physical education lessons, manage behaviour and assess, record and report on every child they teach.

Richards primary role is to ensure our Units of Work fully comply with National Curriculum requirements. As the most experienced member of our teaching team, Richard is able to support staff, provide quality INSET and ensure we are providing the highest possible standard of Physical Education.

Jess plays the important role of ensuring high quality and consistency amongst all members of the Sports (UK) PE Coaching team. She mentors new members of staff and carries out regular observations to identify individual areas for devlopment. Jess is also responsible for staff training which takes place in each school holiday.

Amy coaches in the afternoon’s at Fagley Primary School providing PPA cover for all classes. She also has a very active role in organising our School Sports Festivals, ensuring staff, schools and pupils are provided with the correct information each half term.

Rob coaches in a number of Primary Schools throughout the week which allows him to share good practice between the schools and his colleagues. Rob has a great knowledge in a range of sports. His vast knowledge in this area is used as a positive in all the schools he supports.

Emma has a full time coaching role at Wibsey Primary School, a large three form entry school in Bradford. Emma has proved a great asset to the school over the years that she has been there. As an international distance runner, Emma truly knows how to develop an all round athlete and has the ability to instil good discipline with all pupils.

Although Jess teaches a wide range of activities, she specialises in contemporary dance. Jess has been involved with creating the content of the dance lessons in the “PEplanning” online resource. She also takes a lead in dance training for all our staff, helping us to provide an up to date dance unit that boys and girls love to take part in.
